Leaders of Tuyen Quang province attend conference on socio-economic development
The delegates from Tuyen Quang province, including leaders of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee and several officials of the departments, agencies, city and districts, led by Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Chau Van Lam went to the conference . The conference held by Vinh Phuc province took place on the afternoon of January 8.

Secretary of the Party Committee of Vinh Phuc province Hoang Thi Thuy Lan and provincial leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, as well as leaders of the departments, agencies, districts and cities attended the conference.
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Thi Thuy Lan expressed her joy when welcoming the delegates from Tuyen Quang province. In her speech to the conference, she underlined that the province's economic growth rate has been at a two-digits number for many years, especially in some years it roseby more than 20pct. The province speeded up the average growth rate to 13.27pct per year during the period from 1997 to 2022 This is important achievements of Vinh Phuc province since it was founded again in January 1, 1997. She affirmed that the province's position in all sectors is higher than position in the same sector of the provinces and cities nationwide and in the neighbouring regions.
Both Tuyen Quang and Vinh Phuc provinces are located in adjacent geographical locations, having a transport network connecting to Hanoi capital and the northern mountainous provinces. With many favorable conditions for socio-economic development, Vinh Phuc province expressed its desire to cooperate with localities nationwide as well as with other provinces to develop economy and improve the people's quality of life.
At the conference, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tuyen Quang province Chau Van Lam recognized the achievements of the Party Committee and the people of Vinh Phuc province in socio-economic development since the province was founded again. He said these achievements were seen as the encouragement from Vinh Phuc province to Tuyen Quang province. He expressed his desire to see the cooperation between the two provinces in developing a transport network, which will facilitate socio-economic development of the border areas between the southern region of Tuyen Quang province and the northern region of Vinh Phuc province. Tuyen Quang province also expressed the desire to get Vinh Phuc province's shared valuable experience and information in attracting investors. This will create good conditions for businesses of both Vinh Phuc and Tuyen Quang provinces to cooperate in the development of industrial sector.
The delegates attending the conference reached an agreement to sign a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at keey sectors, consisting of seven sector of transport infrastructure, construction and urban management, agriculture, forestry and fisheries, labor force for industrial zones in Vinh Phuc province, tourism, services and local cultural products, information, communication, digital transformation, science and technology, education and training.
