Tuyen Quang holds opening ceremony of 2nd international hot-air balloon festival
The opening ceremony of the second International hot-air balloon festival organized by the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province took place at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square in Tuyen Quang City on April 28

The opening ceremony was attended by the province's leaders, including Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son, leaders of the provincial government, departmenal officials , the representatives of KKC Ballooning Media Co., Ltd., businesses, travel and tourism companies, as well as press agencies from the province and neighboring provinces. This opening ceremony was televised live by Tuyen Quang Online Newspaper, Tuyen Quang Online Newspaper Fanpage, as well as the YouTube video made by Tuyen Quang Online Newspaper.
In his speech to the ceremony, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as Head of the Organizing Committee of the series of events to start Tuyen Quang Tourism Year 2023 affirmed that the second National hot-air Balloon Festival in Tuyen Quang province is considered as one of the highlight of Tuyen Quang Tourism Year 2023. He said the 2nd International hot-air Balloon Festival would be held from April 28 to May 2 at two places, including Nguyen Tat Thanh Square in Tuyen Quang City and the stadium in Thuong Lam Commune of Lam Binh district.
Some 20 hot-air balloons, which have required international standards from many countries, will take part in this festival and go up by experienced pilots from countries, including France, Spain, Netherlands, Russia, Slovakia, India, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan China, and Vietnam.
The hot-air balloons were scheduled to launch at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square from April 28 to the end of the morning of April 30, while in Lam Binh district those hot- air ballons will be launched in the period from May 1 to the end of the morning of May 2 .
