A lot of visitors join in April 30, May 1 anniversary celebration

According to Tuyen Quang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Some 145,000 visitors joined in April 30 and May 1 anniversary celebration, an increase of 5pct compared to the same period last year.

Visitors attend Hot Air Balloon Festival held at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square in Tuyen Quang City.

Because of the number of days off for April 30 and May 1 the celebation lasted 5 days, as well as favorable weather conditions and the occasion of the province's opening ceremony of Tuyen Quang Tourism Year 2023, tourist destinations in the province attracted a lot of visitors. This report recorded an estimated turnover of VND 139 billion, an increase of 10 pct compared to the same period last year. Some 60pct to 70pct of the province's living accommodations were arranged providing services for visitors.

Tourist destinations of the province, including Tan Trao Special National Monument in Son Duong district, President Ho Chi Minh Temple in Tuyen Quang City, Provincial Museum, as well as beautiful mountain landscapes and tourist destinations in two districts, consisting of Na Hang and Lam Binh, etc., attracted a lot of visitors.
