Tuyen Quang City People's Council held the 6th session
On the morning of June 30, the People's Council of Tuyen Quang city XXII session, term 2021 - 2026 held the 6th session to assess the situation and results of socio-economic tasks, defense - security in the first 6 months of the year; discuss solutions for socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security in the last 6 months of 2023 and some important tasks of the meeting.
Attending and directing the meeting were Comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ta Duc Tuyen, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Tuyen Quang City Party Committee.

Delegates considered some important topics, namely the Report of the City People's Committee assessing the results of the implementation of socio-economic development and defense-security tasks in the first half of the year; results of budget revenues and expenditures in the first half of the year and tasks in the last half of 2023; report on the outcomes of resolving opinions and petitions of voters before and after the 5th session, the XXII and other important issues.
Delegates at the meeting generally agreed with the outcomes accomplished in the city's first six months. Particularly, some socio-economic variables have improved significantly since the same period in 2022. Urban planning, adornment, and infrastructure construction are still being concerned with and prioritized, particularly transportation and urban infrastructure.
Delegates, however, also pointed out openly that in some communes and wards, inspection, detection, prevention, and treatment of infractions in the area of construction and urban order have not been regular and timely; the resolution of citizens' petitions and petitions has also not been completed.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, expressed her appreciation for several innovations and adaptable solutions in municipal administration and direction across all disciplines. She wished that the City People's Council would have the cooperation of the City People's Committee and functional departments in arranging the implementation of thematic monitoring programs, explanation sessions, and questioning sessions.
The City People's Council should continue to promote its role in developing and promulgating new mechanisms and policies. The City Party Committee's Standing Committee should continue to guide and lead the People's Councils at the city and commune levels as they consolidate, strengthen, and increase the ability to carry out their responsibilities. Every City People's Council member, especially the full-time People's Council delegates, needs to carefully consider their options to quickly come up with resolutions.
The City People's Council deputies continued to discuss, consider and approve other crucial issues in the afternoon.
